When we dreamed up Revive With Style our goal was to give clients the combined expertise of a professional organizer AND an interior designer. We knew that blending our skills could maximize a home's potential while doing it with a style that fits our client's. When we get a lead for move-in services, it's like winning the client lottery because we know our skills are going to deliver. This client reached out to us while relocating from out of state, feeling overwhelmed by all the decisions and moving parts involved in the process. Their previous home was much smaller than their new one, and they planned to bring a significant amount of furniture with them. They needed our help with three key things: determining the best placement for their existing furniture, selecting paint colors for specific areas of the home, and creating cohesive spaces that blended new pieces with what they already had. After a quick consultation call, we scheduled an in-person visit to their new home. During the walkthrough, we measured each space and discussed their goals for every room. They provided us with a full inventory of their furniture, and from there—we got to work! Each floor plan shows were their existing pieces should go along with the new items that we have specified in the design boards below. Our clients loved pops of color hear and there, and from looking at their art and furniture inventory, we quickly got a feel for their style. Here the client was keeping their dining table, and upholstered dining chairs. Knowing that they were keeping their existing flooring and kitchen cabinets, for now, we chose a light to match the dining room and other complimentary pieces for the kitchen nook. This space included the most existing pieces. A few items like this sofa and beautiful rug, tie everything together. After our client had digested our plans - next came move-in day! Of course, there was some tweaking and adjustments to be made but we saved our clients LOADS of time spent worrying and wondering where everything would go. BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE! For the final phase of our move-in services, we were invited back to unpack their kitchen. At this point in their move, they were exhausted and simply ready to enjoy their home. During this process of unpacking, we checked in with our clients to understand a few wants and needs. (ie; Where do you prefer your coffee maker to be? Do you use a lot of your glassware daily? How often are you baking?) This way we can put items in places that are conducive to the way they live. As we all know, everyone uses their kitchen differently! Once we're finished, we walked our clients through everything to explain were their items were. Moving into a new home is an exciting fresh start, but it can also feel overwhelming and stressful. Between unpacking boxes, arranging furniture, and deciding where everything should go, the process can quickly become chaotic.
